Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Super safe in the hostel with locked front door, second floor and bedroom with good sized lockable closets, bed was comfy, super clean and always saw cleaning happening, staff were so kind and helpful, noise level was ok at times can get loud but that is to be expected in a shared space. Really nice to have a free tea and coffee, breakfast, evening drink and dinner provided with your stay. Female dorms are a great plus for a solo female traveler and made me feel safer.

For a hostel it was great. I had a micro room which was small but very comfortable. Breakfast, dinner and a beer or soda each day are included. Plenty of bathrooms which were very clean. If you wanted to cook they had a well stocked kitchen. They also had an inexpensive laundry, spare lockers if you were staying in a dorm room and bicycle storage.

It was really cheap with a nice breakfast and dinner included. The shared room and bathroom were clean. The location is great, right in downtown. The staff is nice and responding. It's a perfect opportunity to meet people, if you are lucky you will get good room-mates.

It was a fun experience. We usually stay in hotels but it was a busy weekend in Victoria and that was not an option for us. Dinner was a nice touch. Both options were vegetarian (peanut stew was delish). Staff and guests were friendly and casual, which gave a relaxed, feel good atmosphere. The common area was comfortable. We passed on the breakfast. It was a simple set up with toast and a make your own yogurt parfait station. Looked decent enough and lots of guests were enjoying it. Location was good, walking distance to all the things. There is a climbing gym right next door and then a thrift shop! Lots of people on the streets. There is no dangerous feeling if you are familiar with cities, but some may find it a bit unsettling. It was loud at night. Again, like a city... Sirens, some people outside and traffic. The hostel was not set up to be sound proof or quiet, so you hear it. They provide ear plugs for free. Room was simple and adequate. We had a private room with a shared bathroom. Everything was clean and pleasant. Pack like you are backpacking though. Bring a towel and maybe a sleeping bag if you get cold at night. There are towels available with a deposit. No elevator.

Second stay at this lovely hostel. The first time was in a private room (solo), this time was in a private room with a bunk bed which I shared with a friend (room #43). Bunk bed was super comfortable, very stable, high ceilings so despite it being a mere 75 sq ft it didn't feel claustrophobic, and I really appreciated that there were two fans in the room which worked great on the shelf for breeze on the top bunk. Great location walkable and bikeable to everything. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and arriving after 130km bike ride, complementary cold beer was icing on the cake. By far the most affordable option in Victoria, especially splitting the room with a friend.
